Between all of our front doors stand two towering gardenia bushes, ten feet tall and impossibly fragrant when they bloom in late spring. The scent alone is unforgettable—but it’s the moments beneath them that truly capture our hearts.
Despite our love for long, cozy couch conversations, afternoons by the water, or boisterous dinners, it’s in front of the gardenias that we most often find each other, talking and connecting.
Kids climbing trees, scooters zipping past, little ones tumbling into our arms. Bags of groceries, thrift finds, or random projects in tow. Sometimes dressed for work in black shoes and a chic jumpsuit, sometimes sandy-toed in swimsuits, sometimes just in the everyday comfortable chaos. Cars come and go around us. In a time-lapse, the world rushes by—but there we stand, talking, laughing, catching each other’s lives in real time.
It’s a happy place where our worlds overlap the most. And it feels like the perfect name for where our businesses overlap, too.

Over the years, we've imagined what could happen if we combined our eyes and hearts—and in recent seasons, we've had the chance to do just that! Again and again, we've seen the power of working together, especially working larger scale projects together as a trusted team with a shared heart and vision. Combined we've photographed 500+ weddings and 2000+ sessions and events since starting our businesses. What and honor and blessing. All those people. All those memories. We're so grateful!
